STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific Athletic Foundation continues their Tiger Talk series this upcoming Tuesday, September 8 as they focus to the legacy and history of women's sports at Pacific. 
 
Hosted by Zack Bayrouty, the voice of Pacific Athletics, this week's episode will include head men's and women's swimming and diving coach Katelyn Herrington, head women's softball coach Brian Kolze as well as former student-athletes and special guests Cindy Spiro '76 and Glena Carroll '77.

KATELYN HERRINGTON:
In the fall of 2019, Herrington replaced former seven-year head coach and Pacific alumni Peter Richardson. Herrington returned to Chris Kjeldsen Pool at the Pacific Aquatics Center after taking over as the Swim and Dive Head Coach for Fresno Pacific in 2018-19. Prior to her move to Fresno, Herrington served as an assistant coach for the Tigers during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, guiding the Orange and Black to 40 school records and an NCAA qualifier in back-to-back years. Furthermore, she also coached the Tigers' 200-free relay team to an NCAA Division I top-10 regular season ranking in 2017-18. 

BRIAN KOLZE:
Heading into 2020-21, Kolze enters his 29th season at the helm of the Tiger softball program. With an all-time record of 781-720-1, the Lodi native has secured his spot as the winningest coach in Pacific Softball history. Since becoming head coach in 1992, the Orange and Black have made seven NCAA Regional appearances and clinched one conference title (2011, Big West).

CINDY SPIRO
After competing for the women's basketball team at Pacific during her time as a student, Spiro moved into administration soon after her time as an undergrad. As a graduate assistant, she began at Pacific as the coordinator of women's athletics before eventually moving into senior administration at UOP, followed by time at UC Davis. Cindy is married to former Tiger alum and football player Steve Spiro '74.
 
GLENA CARROLL
Glena Carroll is a former women's volleyball player for the Tigers, having competed under head coach Terry Liskevych. At a time in which the program was just beginning, Glena was the first female recipient of an athletic scholarship in UOP history. She is also married to Tiger alum and current Seattle Seahawks head coach, Pete Carroll '73.
 
KENDALL DENTONI
 Finishing as one of the most accomplished athletes in Pacific women's basketball history, Kendall Dentoni (Kenyon) finished her career at UOP as one of the best players in program history, holding career records in rebounds (1140), offensive boards (402), double-doubles (49), total blocks (172) and 20+ rebound games (4). Additionally, she finished second in rebounding average (9.3) and fourth in field goals (573) and total points (1,442), ranking in the top 10 in eleven other categories for the Tigers. Overall, Dentoni owns nine single-season records, as well as appearing on the single-season top 10 lists for 29 separate records. As one of the most well-rounded athletes in Pacific history, she also hit double-digits in scoring in 77 of 114 career games and double digits in rebounding in 59 of 114 games.
