STOCKTON, Calif. – In light of the recent circumstances, the Pacific Athletic Foundation invites you to join them for another virtual Tiger Talk on Tuesday, March 31 from 4-5 p.m.
The event will be hosted via Zoom by Zack Bayrouty and will feature head men's soccer coach
Adam Reeves and new head women's soccer coach
Ed Moore. Additionally, student-athletes
Emory Rapaport and
Jenae Packard will also be joining the talk.
In his first year at the helm, Reeves guided the men to a 6-10-1 overall record, tied for fourth place in the final WCC standings. Overall, the highlight of the year came when Pacific notched their first-ever win on the road in San Francisco after an extra time goal by redshirt senior
Johnatan Rico-Contreres gave the Tigers the 2-1 victory. Following the conclusion of the season, four Tigers received WCC postseason honors: senior
Andreas Charalambous (First Team), sophomore
Ryan Her (Second Team), Rico-Contreres (Honorable Mention) and Rapaport (All-Freshman Team). Off the pitch, three student-athletes earned WCC All-Academic awards: Junior
Ethan Bandre (All-Academic Team), Charalmbous (All-Academic Honorable Mention) and sophomore
Cooper Riley (All-Academic Honorable Mention).
Arriving in Stockton after a successful seven-year stint at Boise State as an assistant coach, Moore is excited and ready to begin his journey with the Tigers.
"I am honored and overjoyed to be joining the Pacific family," Moore said. "I am grateful to athletics director
Janet Lucas for giving me the opportunity to lead this program, and I am excited to get to work. I would also like to thank our Associate AD,
Holly Trexler, and the entire search committee for all their energy and efforts to make this possible."
This past season, the women's soccer team finished 3-16 under former head coach Kerri Scroope. Despite the struggles, Pacific tallied their first three-match winning streak since the 2011 season with wins over Northern Arizona (Sept. 16), Manhattan College (Sept. 19) and LIU (Sept. 22).
