STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's basketball team has officially canceled Sunday's game, slated as the season opener on Dec. 13 at 2:00 pm, has officially been canceled due to a positive COVID-19 test result with the San Jose State program. There are currently no plans for the contest to be rescheduled this season.
Additionally, the Tigers will also not be making their first road trip to Weber State on Tuesday, Dec. 15 due to current travel advisements and incongruent COVID testing protocols. There are currently no plans for the contest to be rescheduled this season as well.
Rescheduling their Nov. 29 contest, the Tigers will now face No. 1 Stanford in Stockton next Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 6:00 pm in the Alex G. Spanos Center.
Opening their season with the nationally-ranked Cardinal, it will mark the first time Pacific has hosted the No. 1 team in the nation at the Spanos Center since the Tigers were defeated by UConn, 85-42, on Dec. 28, 2010.
Further schedule adjustments or changes will be announced at a later date via pacifictigers.com.
