MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Pacific senior
Jasmine Gonzalez turned in a top 50 finish at the prestigious Roy Griak Invitational Saturday morning at the Les Bolstad Cross Country Course in Minneapolis, Minn.
Gonzalez broke the 6k tape with a time of 22:43.3 and a pace of 6:06 in her only go around at the Minneapolis course in her collegiate career.
The Tigers finished with 449 points as a team, taking 15
th place out of the 16 team field.
Gonzalez was followed by
Emily Wylie, who posted a top 100 finish with a time of 24:44.0.
Kimberly Villegas (101
st),
Anna Martinez (103
rd) and
Victoria Crawford (104
th) followed behind with times of 25:39.1, 26:17.9 and 26:53.0, respectively.
Pacific is back on the course on Friday, October 11 when the Tigers head to the Bay Area for the San Francisco State Invitational.
