Tigers Set for Two Big West Opponents This Week

STOCKTON, Calif. – Coming off a 1-1 draw against Sacramento State on Sunday, the Pacific men's soccer team will look to get back in the win column this week with two 7:00 p.m. matches, Wednesday at home against UC Santa Barbara and Sunday at UC Irvine.
 
Wednesday's match against the Gauchos will be broadcast exclusively on The WCC Network.

  • The Tigers settled for a 1-1 draw with Sacramento State on September 22 with Pacific taking the lead in the 22nd minute on an own goal.  

TALE OF THE TAPE – PACIFIC VS. UCSB
  • Pacific enters Wednesday with a 3-1-0 record at Knoles Field in 2019 and unbeaten in its last three matches overall, falling at home to UNLV 2-0 on September 13. 
  • UCSB enters Wednesday's match riding a four match win streak overall and eight match win streak over Pacific, last downing the Tigers in a 1-0 decision on September 15, 2017 at Harder Stadium in Santa Barbara.
  • Santa Barbara's win in 2017 was one of just four defeats for the Tigers in a season that saw Pacific reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

  • The Tigers are 2-1 all time against UC Irvine after a 4-2 decision last season in Stockton that saw four Pacific first half goals, including a brace from Tariq Branche
