DAVIS, Calif. – Jasmine Gonzalez once again led the pack for the Pacific cross country team, turning in a top 40 finish at Friday evening's Stump Invitational as hosted by UC Davis in Davis, Calif.
The Preseason All-West Coast Conference senior broke the tape in 24:07.5 at a pace of 8:04.69.
Emma Winkler followed behind, placing in the top 60 at 24:35.1.
Emily Wylie (25:27.9),
Kimberly Villegas (26:00.6) and
Anna Martinez (26:21.8) trailed behind, while
Kari Tanji (27:26.1),
Skylar Duignan (27:41.0),
Victoria Crawford (28:03.9) and
Ailey Butler (28:13.6) rounded out the Tigers.
Pacific took home a seventh place finish as a team with 208 points with an average time of 25:52.78.
The Tigers return to the course on Saturday, September 28 for the Roy Griak Invitational in Falcon Heights, Minn.
