STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's basketball (10-3) will look to improve upon its best start since 2004-05 on Wednesday night, when it takes on UNLV (4-7) at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev.

AGAINST UNLV
- The Rebels lead the all-time series with the Tigers, 32-9, which includes a 17-2 record in Las Vegas.
- Pacific is 3-2 against UNLV in its last five meetings, but have dropped consecutive meetings on Dec. 16, 2017 (L, 76-81) and Nov. 20, 2018 (70-96).

- Tripp also led the Tigers on the boards for the 8th time this season, pulling down 8 rebounds against the Matadors.
- The Tigers dished 17 assists (2nd best on the season), led by Crockrell II with a career-best 8 assists.
- As a team, Pacific held the edge in rebounds (32-21), assists (17-11), blocks (5-3), points in the paint (36-18), and second chance points (15-6).
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE TIGERS
- Pacific notched its best 13-game start since 2004-05, when the Tigers went 11-2.
- Tripp is leading the Tigers in points (13.0), rebounds (7.1) and steals (1.7).
- Chivichyan has been stellar from beyond the arc, totaling 13 three-pointers in his last four games. Most recently he sank a season-high four three-pionters in the Tigers win against CSUN.
- The Tigers lead the WCC in scoring defense, holding their opponents to an average of 58.8 points per game, while ranking second in the conference in opponents field goal percentage (39.0).
SCOUTING THE REBELS
- UNLV returns to the Thomas and Mack Center for the first time since defeating Jackson State, 80-57, on Nov. 26.
- The Rebels have dropped four of their last six contests, most recently falling to BYU, 83-50.
- Amauri Hardy leads UNLV with 16.9 points per game, while Elijah Mitrou-Long (12.9 points) and Donnie Tillman (12.6 points) also average double-figures in scoring.
- Cheikh Mbacke Diong leads the Rebels defense efforts with 10.2 rebounds per game and 1.3 blocks per game.
