WAIKIKI, Hawai'i – The Pacific men's basketball team will begin play at the 55th Annual Outrigger Resorts Rainbow classic on Friday evening. The Tigers will open tournament play against South Dakota.

THE HISTORY
- The Tigers contests against South Dakota and Florida A&M will be firsts for the program.
- Hawai'i leads the all-time series against Pacific, 4-5. The Tigers are 2-3 in Honolulu.
LAST TIME OUT
The Tigers are the only team to enter tournament play with a record. Pacific snagged its first victory of the season on Tuesday night, when it defeated Stanislaus State, 69-47. In his first game in over a year, junior Amari McCray finished 7-for-9 from the field for a team-leading 14 points. He also totaled eight rebounds and two steals against the Warriors. As a team, Pacific shot 49-percent (25-51) from the field and 60-percent (15-25) from the free throw line.
