Tigers Prepare for Final Tournament of Fall

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's tennis team is primed for its final fall tournament of 2019, travelling to nearby San Jose State for the SJSU Fall Invitational to be played Friday, November 8 through Sunday, November 10 at the Spartan Tennis Complex on the campus of San Jose State University. The matches will not count towards a dual meet record. 

Last Time Out
  • The Tigers last competed at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships at Stanford October 18-21. 
  • Klara Kosan dropped just one set on her way to the Round of 16 before being stifled by Stanford's Michaela Gordon. 
  • Dohee Lee advanced to the Round of 32 before falling to Natsuho Arakawa of Washington.
  • The Tigers went 3-4 in singles the opening Round of 128 and 2-2 in doubles in the opening Round of 64. 
Young Talent
  • This weekend will be the last opportunity for the 28th best recruiting class (per tennisrecruiting.net) to show what it's made of. 
  • Kosan is an impressive 13-3 on the year in singles, not including a wild card she earned after claiming the Battle in the Bay singles championship in September, her first event of her collegiate career.
