STOCKTON, Calif. – Following two wins in the Preseason WNIT, the Pacific women's basketball team (2-1) will return home to the Alex G. Spanos Center on Thursday morning when they face off against Weber State (0-3) at 11:00 am.
Playing at home for the first time in 12 days, the Tigers will host their 5th annual Education Day, where over 2,000 kids from the local community will enjoy a day filled with campus tours, lunch and tickets to attend the game.

LAST TIME OUT:
- Playing in the Preseason WNIT for only the second time in program history, the Tigers closed out tournament play with a 58-51 win over Drexel University on Saturday, Nov. 16. The win marked UOP's first-ever victory over the Dragons.
- Tallying her first double-double of the season, redshirt junior Valerie Higgins was named the City of Stockton Human Resources Hardworking Player of the game after finishing with 12 points, 14 rebounds (game-high), 2 assists, 1 block and 1 steal.
- Continuing her dominance to open the season, junior Brooklyn McDavid also recorded her first double-double of the year as she poured in 19 points (game-high), 10 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block. Having scored in double-digits all three games, the Studio City native is currently third in the nation in scoring with an average of 25.7 points per game.
- Redshirt senior Callie Kaiser provided a much-needed spark off the bench for the Tigers, notching 6 points on 50% shooting from the field. The Colorado State transfer also added 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in 18 minutes of play.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS:
- Weber State makes the trip to Stockton with an 0-3 record on the season, having dropped games to Portland, UCLA and Washington. The Wildcats come into the matchup having been defeated by the Huskies, 94-41, on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
- The Wildcats have struggled on both ends of the floor so far this season, scoring 48.3 points per game while allowing the opponent to average 85.7 points per game.
- Looking for their first win, Weber State has not found their rhythm from the field yet, shooting .342 overall, .227 from beyond the arc and .690 from the free-throw line.
- Ula Chamberlain currently leads Weber State with a scoring average of 11.0 points per game while Ciara James is flirting with double-double figures, recording averages of 9.0 points and 6.3 rebounds in three games this year.
