This Week in Pacific Athletics

STOCKTON, Calif. – Golf is underway as it competes at home over the next three days at the Stockton Golf & Country Club. The fourth-ranked men's water polo hosts a home weekend as it welcomes No. 7 Princeton at 7 p.m. Friday and No. 16 LMU at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Eberhardt Aquatics Center.

Single game tickets are now on sale for all home volleyball and men's water polo events. General admission tickets start at $5 (Men's Water Polo) and $10 (Volleyball) - visit www.pacifictigers.com/tickets to view the schedule and purchase your tickets today. Monday, Oct. 14 - Wednesday, Oct. 16 - Golf hosts Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational - The Tigers are set to host the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational at the Stockton Golf & Country Club. Pacific looks to keep its momentum up after a second-place finish last week in the Alister MacKenzie Invitational. The three-day tournament provides free admission to all guests.

Thursday, Oct. 17 - Volleyball (12-6, 2-4 WCC) travels to Santa Clara (5-10, 1-5 WCC), 6 p.m. - Coming off a 3-0 sweep over Gonzaga on Homecoming, the Tigers will look to carry momentum into Santa Clara. 

Friday, Oct. 18 - No. 4 Men's Water Polo (11-0) hosts No. 7 Princeton (13-5) - In a rematch from earlier this year, the Tigers will play their second of a three-game home stand Friday. Pacific will look to sweep the season series over Princeton after pulling out a 12-11 road win on Nov. 15. The Tigers are 40-15 all-time against the Broncos and have won the last five meetings including a 3-2 decision at home two weeks ago.

Saturday, Oct. 19 - Cross Country at Bronco Invitational, 9:30 a.m. - The Tigers compete in their fourth event of the season, heading to the Bay Area for the Bronco Invitational. Last year, Pacific finished seventh out of the 18 participating teams in the Bronco Invitational. 

Saturday, Oct. 19 - Volleyball (12-6, 2-4 WCC) at San Francisco (11-6, 4-1 WCC), 1 p.m. - The Tigers will look to hand the Dons their first home loss of the season as USF is 4-0 at The Sobrato Center. Pacific is 36-5 all-time against USF and have won the last three meetings.

Saturday, Oct. 19 - Women's Soccer (2-11-1, 0-4 WCC) at Santa Clara (9-2-2, 3-0-1 WCC), 1 p.m. - Pacific hits the road to face Santa Clara for a Saturday matinee. Junior Alexis Pashales and freshman Sierah McCallum are the co-leaders in goals with four apiece.

Sunday, Oct. 20 - No. 4 Men's Water Polo (11-0, 1-0 WCC) hosts No. 16 LMU (9-8, 0-0 WCC) - In another rematch, the Tigers will wrap-up their three-game homestand against the Lions. Pacific won the first meeting 13-11 on Sept. 21 on the road in a non-conference match. Sunday's contest will count towards WCC records.
