Tigers Continue Conference Play vs. USD

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's soccer team (4-9-1, 1-3-0) is set to welcome San Diego (10-4-1, 1-3-0) to Knoles Field tonight, Saturday, Nov. 2 at 7:00 pm.
 
The match will be available to view live at game time on The WCC Network. UOP will also honor both active military and Veterans throughout the match for Military Appreciation Night.

LAST TIME OUT:
  • The Tigers fell on the road at No. 11 Saint Mary's, 1-0, on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
  • Despite stout defense from Pacific throughout the match, the Gaels scored the lone goal of the game on a penalty kick in the 14th minute.
  • Unfortunately, UOP could not find any momentum on the offensive side of the ball as Mamoru Kamisasanuki, Tariq Branche and Derick Roque registered only three shots during the match for the Tigers.
SERIES HISTORY:
  • Pacific and San Diego will meet on the pitch for the sixth time overall on Saturday evening, with USD currently holding a 3-2 advantage heading into the contest. The Tigers are aiming to get back in the win column after dropping their previous match to the Toreros, 2-1, on Oct. 28, 2018.
  • UOP is 1-1-0 all-time at Knoles Field against San Diego, with their win coming in a 3-1 victory on Oct. 27, 2017.
