"Today was a tough result to swallow," head coach Tina Samara said. "We showed some improvement in doubles, but we cannot continue to have slow starts on any courts. In singles we battled and saw some great fight coming back on multiple courts after being a set down. We let a few set point opportunities go by that we need to capitalize on in the future."
The Tigers fall to 2-3 on the season, while UC Davis improves to 8-3.
Pacific will be back in action on Friday March 10, with a home match against San Francisco Academy of Art. First serve from Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center is set for 2pm.
