"In sports you can control your effort and your attitude, but you cannot make up for experience," head coach
Charlotte Scatliffe said. "Today wasn't our best fight or our best tennis and our inexperience showed. Hats off to San Diego who outcompeted us and wasn't scared to go take the win. As a team and as individuals we will learn from this and actually become stronger. I'll take growth over wins right now. Now we are back to work and looking only forward."
The Tigers will be back in action at home on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 12:00 p.m. against San Francisco. For the latest on the Pacific Women's Tennis program, be sure to follow @PacificWTennis on Twitter and Instagram.
