Tigers To Host San Francisco This Saturday

Box Score

Stockton, Calif. – Following a 1-1 tie with the reigning WCC Champion Santa Clara Broncos this past Saturday, the Pacific men's soccer team (10-3-1, 2-1-1) welcomes San Francisco to Knoles Field this Saturday at 7 PM. This game with the Dons will be part of a Pacific soccer double-header as the Women's team takes on San Diego at 1 PM that afternoon.

Last week against the Broncos, the Tigers drew their first tie of the season. Santa Clara got on the board first but Pacific answered quickly on Tristan Blackmon's third goal of the year. The Tigers outshot the Broncos 21-10 in the contest but couldn't quite find the deciding second goal.

All-time the Dons own a 2-0 record over the Tigers, however this will be the first time these two teams have met at Knoles Field. San Francisco is 6-7 overall this season including 2-2 in WCC play. In their most impressive victory this season the Don's took down then-#12 Stanford 2-1, giving them their first win against a ranked opponent since 2014.

November 6th will be the Tiger's final home game of the regular season as they Portland in a game that could have conference title implications.  The showdown with the Pilots will also be senior day as we honor our graduating seniors at their final game at Knoles Field.
