"It was a great win for the Tigers today," head coach Charlotte Scatliffe said. "It's never easy to win every match in college tennis but we showed great focus and great discipline to get the job done from top to bottom. There was noticeable improvement from our last match. For a young team we are really getting close and learning to play for each other. We will discuss our team and individual goals and get back out there tomorrow for what we know will be a tough match against New Mexico State."
The Tigers improve to 1-1 on the young season, while Weber State falls to 0-2. Pacific will face New Mexico State on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. The Aggies opened their season against UNLV Friday, with the Rebels taking a 7-0 victory.
