The Pacific men's basketball team finishes a stretch of four straight road games with games at Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount this week. On Thursday, Feb. 6, the Tigers travel to Malibu to take on Pepperdine at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, Feb. 8 the Tigers visit Loyola Marymount at 4:00 p.m. Both games are televised TheW.tv.
Pacific is 12-9 overall and 3-7 in the West Coast Conference, after splitting road games at BYU (L, 88-78) and San Diego (W, 84-67) last weekend. Senior Andrew Bock leads the team with 12.2 points per game, while senior Tony Gill is averaging a team-best 5.8 rebounds per game. The Tigers are third nationally in free throw percentage at .778.
Pepperdine is 13-10 on the season and 6-5 in the WCC, after an 80-69 home win over Loyola Marymount last Saturday. Stacy Davis leads the Waves with 14.6 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. The Tigers defeated the Waves 76-66 on Jan. 25 in Stockton.
Loyola Marymount is 11-12 on the season and 3-8 in the WCC, after an 80-69 road loss at Pepperdine last Saturday. Anthony Ireland leads the Lions with 18.8 points per game. The Lions defeated Pacific 92-81 on Jan. 23 at the Spanos Center.
