Fresno, Calif.- The Tigers kicked off the match against the Bulldogs with high energy. While they played with passion and tact, the Tigers came up short in the doubles competitions. After having yielded the doubles point, the Tigers got together and prepared for singles.
As the singles competitions got underway, the Tigers slightly struggled to find their footing. However, freshman Hana Ritterova found her niche quickly while performing at the No. 1 position. Ritterova faced Rana Sherif Ahmed and proved victorious in straight sets to post a final score of 6-3, 6-4.
The Tigers are now 6-8 and 1-1 in the Big West Conference.
