Full Weekly Release

For the final time in 2012, the Tigers step outside of Big West play to take on a non-conference foe as Pacific heads to San Jose State for a midweek matchup of former rivals. The Tigers enter the match 11-2 overall and 11-1 in non-conference matches with their lone non-conference loss coming at No. 8 Stanford. All-time, the Tigers hold a 39-11 edge over the Spartans. Pacific has won five of the last six matchups, however, the Spartans stunned the Tigers last season, 3-1, to take the Stockton Hilton title in Stockton.

The Tigers are coming off just there second loss of the 2012 season as Pacific fell at UC Davis, 3-1, to begin Big West Conference play last weekend. In the match, junior Megan Birch and freshman Kat Schulz each tallied 15 kills. For Schulz, the 15 kills tied a career high while she also picked up her fourth-straight double-double by adding 12 digs.
