Raleigh, N.C. - Closing out play at the Rod Myers Invitational, the Pacific golf team carded a +10, 298 on the final day of play to finish in 10th place on Sunday, October 14. The Tigers and the rest of the field finished behind the host and tournament winning Blue Devils as Duke finished the final round 10-under par to post a -12 for the tournament, winning by 12 stokes.

Individually, sophomore Eric Sugimoto led the Tigers on the course as the second year player was the only Pacific golfer to hit the red for a round at Duke University Golf Course as Sugimoto posted a -1, 71 in round three. Sugimoto tallied a trio of birdies throughout the day including carding a three on the par-4 sixth to push his round under par. For the tournament, Sugimoto went one-over par with a three-round total of 217 to finish in a tie for 16th overall. The individual leaders at the end of the tournament came out of the tournament's backyard as North Carolina's Clark Palmer and Duke's Julian Suri each finished the tournament at -7.

Pacific will take a week off before hitting its home course of Brookside Country Club as the Tigers host the Pacific Invitational from October 29-31.
