The Tigers came up just shy of the win against University of Nevada with a final score of 4-3 which gives them a season record of 8-10 and a conference record of 4-3.
The Tigers got off to a great start having won the doubles point when Jenifer Widjaja and partner Julia Hansen first produced a win followed by Shabby Eslami and Summer Irvin which clinched the point for the Tigers.
Widjaja continued on with her doubles momentum to defeat opponent De Vrye with a dominating two set score, 6-1, 6-0. Senior Olga Gumenyuk also produced a singles win against opponent Ogata in a brutal three sets that resulted in the Tiger's favor. Her final score was 4-6, 7-5, 6-2. Pacific continued on to fight through the match, especially Susan Te who was in pain through most of her match, but continued to fight until the last point was scored in favor of Nevada. The match was extremely close which is depicted by the final score of 2-6, 6-2, 7-6(6).
The Tigers now prepare to face Cal State Northridge for their last match of the season in Northridge, California.
