Irvine, Calif. -

The Tigers rallied throughout the day against the No. 62 UC Irvine Anteaters in Irvine, California.  The Tigers got off to a rough start having lost the doubles point to Irvine when the Tigers numbers 2 and 3 doubles came up short against the Anteaters.  

The Singles boosted the Tigers to their victory after having won four of the six matches.  The Tigers played tough and won singles 1, 2, 5, and 6.  

After the match Coach Chiene remarked that Kateryna Nezhura had an intense match in which she was down in the second set 1-5 and love-30 after having lost the first set 2-6, and Nezhura came back to win the match with an impressive final score of 2-6, 7-6 (7), 6-2 to win the match for the Tigers.
