Pacific Edges USF 4-3

The Pacific women's tennis team defeated the USF Dons in a final 4-3 decision. The Tigers competed with great strategy and proved victorious.

Pacific started off strong by securing the doubles point and then proceeded to secure three singles wins. Jenifer Widjaja had the first singles win with a confident two set score of 6-2, 6-0 against opponent Wartenburger. The next victory for Pacific was that of Julia Hansen who also secured her match in a mere two sets with a final score of 6-1, 6-4 against Duriez. The match securing win for Pacific was a confident match by Olga Gumenyuk who sealed the deal with a 6-3, 6-3 final match score against Hashiguchi.

Coach Chiene commented on the match by saying, "Doubles were aggressive, and it paid off.  Julia Hansen also had a great win today."

With this victory, Pacific improves their season score to 4-6.
