Tigers Lose to #20 Arizona State 7-0

Feb. 13, 2011

Tempe, Ariz. -

The Tigers played tough against the Sun Devils, but were unable to defeat one of the top 20 teams in the nation.  Pacific had the advantage of playing on Arizona State's courts in a previous match against Northern Arizona University on Saturday February 12th, however, Arizona State still held the homecourt advantage and it was evident.

Though the Tigers suffered a harsh loss to Arizona, they gained tremendous experience from this particular match and now prepare to face Fresno State on February 19th in Fresno, California.

After today's match Coach Chiene stated, " We didn't play badly, there is a reason why they are top 20 in the nation."  With that being said, Coach Chiene is anxious for the next match and is eager to prepare with the team back on home turf.
