Reno, Nev. - The women's tennis team dropped a 4-3 match to No. 72 Nevada on Saturday, April 24. With the loss the Tigers fell to 8-13 on the year.
Dropping all three doubles matches to the Wolf Pack, the Tigers took three of the singles matches.
Capturing the win from the first position was No. 82 junior Jenifer Widjaja (Sao Roque, Brazil), who defeated No. 105 Maria Mizyuk of Nevada (6-1, 6-1).
In the three spot, freshman Julia Hansen (Hamburg, Germany) took down Florence De Vrye (5-7, 6-0, 6-2).
Senior Sasha Fisher (Southampton, Bermuda) came up with the third singles win for the Tigers, defeating Aline Laurioux (6-1, 6-4).
The Tigers will be back in action for the Big West Championships on April 29 in Indian Wells, Calif.
