Fullerton, Calif. - The Pacific women's tennis team cruised to an easy 7-0 sweep over Cal State Fullerton on Saturday, Mar. 28. The victory lifted the Tigers to 8-9 on the season and 4-1 in the Big West Conference, while Cal State Fullerton fell to 3-16 overall and 0-4 in conference play.

Pacific's 7-0 victory is its third sweep of the 2009 season. Senior Jolanta Twarowska (Hamburg, Germany) and sophomore Jenifer Widjaja (Sao Roque, Sao Paulo, Brazil) led the way for the Tigers with quick singles victories. Twarowska recorded a 6-1, 6-1 win over Shelly Injejikian at the number two position. Widjaja, meanwhile, downed Leslie Bullock, 6-1, 6-0 at the top slot.

Pacific returns to action on Sunday, Mar. 29 at 11 a.m. in Irvine, Calif. against UC Irvine.
