The Pacific Tigers women's tennis team suffered a scoreless loss to No. 37-ranked Long Beach State Saturday April 12. With the loss Pacific dropped to (5-12) overall and (1-5) in Big West conference play while the Long Beach State 49ers improved to (16-5) and a perfect (8-0) record against conference opponents this season.
Junior Clara Schuhmacher (Zaragosa, Spain) had the best offensive showing of the day for the Tigers, stretching her match but eventually falling 6-3, 6-4 at No.5.
The Tigers return to the courts Sunday April 13 2008 when they travel to UC Riverside in their last Big West conference match up of the season. Match scheduled for 11:00am
