Sacramento, Calif. - The Pacific women's tennis team fell to No. 52 Sacramento State by the score of 6-1 on Saturday, April 7th at Rio Del Oro Racquet Club in Sacramento, Calif.
With the loss the Tigers fall to 6-11 in duals this spring, while the Hornets improve to 13-6.
Sacramento put a point on the board early by sweeping the doubles action for the day, and followed it up with only one match loss. Pacific freshman Svenja Arens (Bensburg, Germany) took home the Tigers only victory of the day, defeating Aileen Tsan at No. 3 singles 6-2, 5-2 (ret.).
The Tigers are back in action on Friday, April 13th as they host Big West Conference foe Long Beach State at 1pm at the Hal Nelson Tennis Courts.
