Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific women's tennis team fell to No. 75 Nevada by the score of 6-1 on Sunday, March 4th at Hal Nelson Tennis Courts.
With the loss, the Tigers fall to 4-4 on the season while Nevada improves to 6-4.
Nevada started the dual strong, sweeping the doubles to earn a point, although all three were tightly contested at 8-4, 8-6 and 8-5.
The singles got started with Nevada winning the first two to finish to take a 3-0 lead before Pacific answered back as freshman Svenja Arens (Bensburg, Germany) won the No. 3 singles position over Laetitia Tan to pull the Tigers to within two at 3-1.
Nevada when on to post victories in the final three matches to finish to take home the 6-1 victory.
Pacific will be next in action on March 10th and 11th at the Boise State Invitational.
