Zoldak and Betlej Compete in Day Two of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships

Minneapolis Minn. - Pacific juniors Wojciech Betlej (Mielec, Poland) and Krzysztof Zoldak (Oswiecim, Poland) competed at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Minneapolis Minn. on Mar. 16. Betlej represented the Tigers in the 100 Back and Zoldak competed in the 400 IM.

Zoldak finished in 23rd place in the 400 IM with a time of 3:55.63. It was his second event of the meet. In his first event of the championship meet he false started in the 200 IM and was disqualified.

The 100 Back was the first of two events for Betlej. In Friday's action he finished the 100 Back with a time of 48.65 to finish in 29th place. Wojciech will be competing in the 200 Back on Saturday. His seed time for the 200 Back is 1:44.96, which is a Pacific school record.
