Boise, Idaho: - The Pacific women's tennis team fell to No. 45 Boise State on Sunday, March 11th in Boise, Idaho by the score of 6-1.
With the loss, the Tigers fall to 4-6 on the season, while the Broncos improve to 9-2 overall.
In the battle of former Big West foes, the Tigers got a singles victory at the No. 1 singles position as senior Vana Mrazovic (Belgrade, Serbia & Montenegro) defeated Boise State's Bianca Jochimsen 2-6, 7-5, 11-9.
Pacific also had a strong effort by freshman Svenja Arens (Bensburg, Germany) as she took her opponent, Polina Kokoulina, to three sets before falling 4-6, 6-2, 6-4.
The Tigers, for the second straight match, were forced to concede points at No. 6 singles and No. 1 doubles due to a lack of healthy players.
Pacific is next in action on Monday, March 19th as they host Northern Colorado at 2:00pm.
