Moraga, Calif. - The Pacific women's tennis team suffered a 6-1 loss to Saint Mary's on Saturday, Feb. 3.

The loss dropped the Tigers to 2-2 on the season, while the Gaels moved to 1-0.

Freshman Svenja Arens (Bensburg, Germany) recorded the Tigers point, scoring a singles victory over Nienke Stijbis at the No. 3 singles position 6-4, 6-3.

Sophomore Jolanta Twarowska (Hamburg, Germany) fought a tough battle at the No. 2 singles position, falling to Jessica Hoath 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (5).

Pacific will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 10 as the Tigers host Santa Clara at 1 p.m. at Hal Nelson Tennis Courts.
