Pacific Men's Swimming Team in Fourth Place at 14-Team Nike Cup

Long Beach, Calif. - The Pacific men's swimming team is currently in fourth place after the first day of action at the 14-team Nike Cup on Thursday, Nov. 15.

The best finish of the day for the Tigers' men's team came in the 400 Medley relay as the team of senior Wojciech Betlej (Mielec, Poland), senior David Dunn (Morgan Hill, Calif.), junior Chris Chapman (Redmond, Wash.) and junior Thomas Peart (Livermore, Calif.) posted a time of 03:23.24 to finish second in the race.

The best individual finish for the Tigers on Friday was turned in by senior Krzysztof Zoldak (Oswiecim, Poland) as he finished fourth in the 200 IM in 1:49.47.

The Tigers will continue to compete in the Nike Cup Invitational on Friday, Nov. 16.
