Pacific Falls to No. 48 UNLV 7-0

Las Vegas, Nev. - The Pacific women's tennis team fell to 1-1 on the season with a 7-0 loss at the hands of No. 48 UNLV on Saturday, January 27th.

The Rebels swept the singles contests, although sophomore Jolanta Twarowska (Hamburg, Germany) and freshman Svenja Arens (Bensburg, Germany) each one a game to force the third set tiebreak.

In doubles action, the Tigers took the No. 2 doubles position 8-0 as Arens teamed up with senior Vana Mrazovic (Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro) to defeat the UNLV tandem of Dimitrova and Tempelfelde.

The Tigers wrap up action in the UNLV Spring Invitational against New Mexico on Sunday, January 28th.
