Las Vegas, Nev. - The Pacific women's tennis team started the spring season off with a strong performance, downing Weber State 7-0 to improve their record to 1-0.
In singles action, the Tigers one all but one match in straight sets, while sophomore Clara Schuhmacher (Zaragoza, Spain) came back from dropping the first set 3-6 to win set two 6-2 and the tiebreak 1-0(4) over Weber State's Keya Adamson.
In doubles competition, Pacific won all three matches comfortably to earn the doubles point.
The Tigers continue their play at the UNLV Spring Invitational on Saturday, January 26th.
