Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific men defeated Cal Poly by a score of 205-57 and fell to UC Davis by a score of 133-129 on senior day at Chris Kjeldsen Pool on Saturday, January 20. With the win and the loss the Tigers are now 2-3 in dual meets on the season.
Juniors Wojciech Betlej (Mielec, Poland) and David Dunn (Morgan Hill, Calif.) led the way for the Tigers by winning two events a piece. Betlej finished first in the 100 Back and the 200 Back with times of 50.28 and 1:48.44, while Dunn took the 100 Breast and the 200 Breast with times of 57.98 and 2:06.24.
Sophomore Matt Lundy (Lafayette, Colo.) and junior Krzysztof Zoldak (Oswiecim, Poland) each earned a first place finish as well. Lundy touched first in the 1000 Free with a time of 9:27.67 and Zoldak won the 100 Fly with a time of 50.58
The Tigers will be back in action on February 3 when they take on University of California - Santa Barbara in Santa Barbara, Calif. at 11:00 a.m.
