Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific women's tennis team fell to UC Irvine in conference action 6-0 on Sunday, March 12. With the loss, the Tigers fall to 9-5, 2-2 in Big West Conference play, while UC Irvine improved to 7-7, 3-1 in the Big West.

Heavy rains in the Stockton area forced the action indoors, where only singles action took place on the afternoon.

Freshman Carla Tamborini (Arcadia, Calif.) nearly won the No. 3 match, falling to Ashley Siddall of UC Irvine 6-4, 3-6, 7-5.

The Tigers are next in action the weekend of March 18-19 as they host Idaho and Boise State in non-conference action.
