Santa Clara, Calif. - The Pacific Tigers women's tennis team collected their fourth win in the last five matches as the No. 69 Tigers defeated Santa Clara, 6-1, on Saturday, Feb. 25.

With the win the Tigers moved to 7-3 on the season, while Santa Clara fell to 5-7 on the year.

After taking the doubles point behind victories at each of the top two positions, Pacific claimed straight set victories at the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 6 positions to clinch the match. Senior Natalia Kostenko (Rostov-on-Don, Russia) and junior Vana Mrazovic (Belgrade, Serbia & Montenegro) were victorius at the No. 2 and No. 1 positions respectively, by the score of 6-0, 6-2.

The Tigers return to the courts on Saturday, March 4 as Pacific travels to Long Beach, Calif. to face the Long Beach State 49ers at 1 p.m. The match will be the Big West opener for the Tigers.
