Portland, Ore. - By virtue of six victories in singles, the Pacific Tigers women's tennis team defeated Portland, 6-1, on Saturday, Feb. 18.

With the win the Tigers moved to 5-2 on the season, while Portland fell to 0-6.

Sophomore Helen Scheider (Dernbach, Germany) gave the best performance for the Tigers, dropping only two games in her 6-1, 6-1 win over Laura Leoni.

The Tigers will be back in action, tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 19 as the Tigers continue their road trip in Oregon, facing the Oregon Ducks at 12 p.m.
