Pacific Falls At Cal State Fullerton, 3-0

Fullerton, Calif. - The Pacific women's volleyball team suffered a three game loss to Cal State Fullerton on the road on Saturday, October 28.

With the loss the Tigers fell to 6-16 overall and 3-7 in Big West Conference action while the Titans improved to 15-8 overall and 4-5 in conference play.

Game scores for the match were 20-30, 14-30, 18-30.

The story of the match can be seen in a few key statistics as the Cal State Fullerton Titans committed just two combined errors in the first two games and eight errors in the match. The Tigers, meanwhile, committed 12 errors in game one and 37 in the match.

Cal State Fullerton out hit Pacific, .257 to -.037 and out blocked the Tigers 15 to 0.

Sophomore Alexa Anderson (Los Gatos, Calif.) led the Pacific offense with nine kills, while junior Julie Magud nabbed 15 digs in the loss.

Cal State Fullerton's Brittany Trudeau led all attackers with 14 kills, while Vanessa Vella equaled Magud's total with 15 digs.

Tbe Tigers will next be in action on Thursday, November 2, as they play host to the Aggies of UC Davis. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
