Tucson, Ariz. - The Pacific Tigers womne's tennis team fell, 6-1, to No. 59 on Friday, Jan. 27.The loss evened the Tigers' record at 1-1 on the season, while Arizona moved to 2-0.

Despite a spirited performance, the Tigers dropped six of seven points to the Wildcats. Pacific's lone victory came at the No. 2 position as senior Vana Mrazovic (Belgrade, Serbia & Montenegro) outlasted Kasia Jakowlew in three sets, 7-6, 2-6, 10-6.

The Tigers will be back in action on Monday, Jan. 30 when they open their home season against Hawai'i at 1 p.m.
