Phoenix, Ariz. - The Pacific Tigers womne's tennis team opened its spring 2006 season with a 6-1 win over Northern Arizona on Thursday, Jan. 26.

The win moved Pacific to 1-0 on the season, while Northern Arizona fell to 0-2.

The Tigers collected straight set victories in all of the top five singles matches and swept the three doubles matches in the victory over the Lumberjacks.

The Tigers will be back in action on Friday, Jan. 27 when they face No. 59 Arizona at 11 a.m.
