Tyler joined the Pacific staff in October 2024 as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications currently overseeing Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Softball, Men's and Women's Tennis, and Beach Volleyball.
Prior to coming to Stockton, Tyler served as the primary contact for men's and women's soccer, men's basketball and softball at Wofford College for the 2023-24 season. While there, he oversaw the inaugural softball team that produced the program's first Southern Conference Coach of the Year honor (Chelsea Butler), first First Team All-SoCon selection and finished one inning from a spot in the conference tournament semifinals. His year with men's soccer was wildly successful, tallying both Coach (Joel Tyson) and Player (Nikolai Rojel) of the Year honors as well as a defense that tops much of the Wofford record book. Tyler also helped promote women's soccer's first year Head Coach Elissa Post and the first full season of men's basketball Head Coach Dwight Perry.
Before Wofford, Tyler was a student intern for two seasons at the University of Tennessee. During his time on Rocky Top he gained experience assisting numerous postseason events, including the 2022 Knoxville baseball Regional and Super Regional, the 2023 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament first and second rounds in Knoxville, 2023 Women's Tennis NCAA Tournament in Knoxville, and the 2022/2023 Men's Tennis NCAA Tournaments in Knoxville. He also assisted during the Vols' historic 2022 football season.
Tyler graduated Tennessee in the spring of 2023 with a Masters of Science in Sport Management. He is also a 2020 graduate of Southern Illinois University, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism.Â
