Logan Kowalczyk joined the Pacific coaching staff as a goalkeeping coach ahead of the 2025 season.
Kowalczyk, a native of Detroit, Michigan, brings goalkeeping experience to Pacific after his previous coaching stint at University of Detroit Mercy. With the Titans, Kowalczyk conducted daily goalkeeper training, providing valuable insight and strategies on team tactics as well as assisting with program operations.
In Kowalczyk's second year with Detroit Mercy, the Titans took down Eastern Illinois, Milwaukee, and Wright State. During his first season with the Titans in 2023, he helped the team to a 5-10-3 overall record and 4-3-2 mark in Horizon League play. Detroit Mercy advanced to the conference quarterfinals, where they fell to Purdue Fort Wayne.
Goalkeeper Quinn Tews was named Horizon League All-Freshman in 2023 after leading the team in saves (51), shutouts (2), goals against average (1.66) and saves per game (3.64). Tews was also named Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week twice during the season under Kowalczyk, while finishing with a 5-6-3 record in goal.
During his tenure as a player at Bowling Green State, Kowalczyk started in 26 of 27 total games in goal for the Falcons, compiling a 16-8-3 record while tallying a dozen total shutouts and 59 saves with an impressive 0.83 goals against average. He also was a two-time Academic All-Mid-American Conference (MAC) selection and an All-MAC Second Team selection.
Kowalczyk earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from BGSU in 2023 along with a minor in leadership.
