Javier Salcedo was named the diving coach at Pacific in Sept. 2025. Salcedo brought a wealth of diving knowledge and expertise to the Tigers after most recently serving as a head diving coach in the Roseville Joint Union High School District.
Salcedo has over 11 years of coaching experience, a welcomed addition to Pacific's newly developed diving program implemented in 2025-26 to accompany swimming.
Salcedo has developed a strong ability to inspire student-athletes in his previous destinations, refining their techniques and building confidence both on and off the boards. Salcedo's background as both a competitor and coach has given him a deep understanding of what it takes to guide divers toward their personal bests while fostering a safe and supportive training environment at the pool.
Salcedo, a native of Fair Oaks, California, graduated with his bachelor's degree in advertising from San Diego State in 2020.
