Career Stats
2017 (Senior):
Had a career year in her last season donning the Orange and Black. Ran a personal-best 19:03.10 in the 5000m at the Johnny Mathis Invitational (Feb. 25) and followed with another record in the 1500m during the Hornet Invitational (Mar. 18) with a time of 5:07.75. She capped off her career at the Bulldog Open (Apr. 22) with a personal-best 11:01.95 in the 3000m.
2016 (Junior):
In her first competition of the season, Lakdawala ran the final leg of the 4x400m Relay and helped set a new program with a time of 4:24.29. Lakdawala missed the rest of the season due to injury.
2015 (Sophomore):
The Karachi, Pakistan native kicked off the season at the Kim Duyst Invite, running the 1500m race in 5:18.11. Lakdawala followed up her strong performance at the Johnny Mathis Invite as she sped through the 800m long course in 2:30.38 and finished the 1500m in 5:11.31
2014 (Freshman):
Lakdawala took on her first Track and Field season here at Pacific. Lakdawala competed at the Kim Duyst Invitational in the 800m, finishing in at 2:33.85a, and the 1500m, finishing in at 5:24.70a. Lakdawala also competed at the San Francisco Distance Carnival, finishing at 12:45.57a in the Two-Mile race.
High School:
Lakdawala is a 2013 graduate of the Karachi American School in Karachi, Pakistan. An accomplished distance runner already, she holds the Pakistani national record in the 3000m, recorded in July of 2012 (11:18.96). In addition, she holds the South Asian Inter-Scholastic Association records in the 800m and 3000m. She is the school record holder in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m and 3000m competitions.
Personal:
Myra was born in Chicago to parents Parvez and Rozina Lakdawala. When she is not running, she enjoys listening to music, watching television, going for walks and spending time with her family. She is a health and exercise science major at Pacific with plans to pursue a career in physical therapy.
