High School
Kirwan did not participate in women''s track and field, but was a member of the Bear Creek Swimming team for four years. For the Bruins she swam the 50 Free, 100 Fly, 200 Free Relay and the 200 Medley Relay. In addition, Kirwan served as a sprinter for the Bruin''s water polo team as a junior and senior.
Personal
Kirwan''s mother is also Pacific Athletic''s alumni, playing for the women''s field hockey team for one season. She is a health and exercise science major.
