Career Stats
2016 (Junior):
In the first meet of the season, Long ran the second leg of the 4x100 Meter Relay and helped set a new program record with a time of 52.64 at the Johnny Mathis Invite. At the Hornet Invite, the Sandy, Utah native finished the 400 Meter dash in 1:06.19.
2015 (Sophomore):
Long paced the Tigers across the line in the 200 Meter at the Kim Duyst Invitational with a time of 28.36, a personal best, and ran the second leg of the 4x100 Meter Relay as the group posted a time 52.83. At the following Johnny Mathis Invitational, Long sped through the 400 Meter with a time of 1:04.77. Long helped set a new program record in the 4x100 Meter Relay as her unit posted a 52.53. Another program record came Long''s way at the Beach Invite as she competed the 400 Meter Dash in 1:02.67, which is the fastest of any Tiger.
2014 (Freshman):
Long''s season highlights include her third place finish overall in the 100 Meters at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, finishing with a season best of 13.94aw. Long finished third overall in the 100 Meters at the 2014 Chabot/CSU East Bay Legacy Invite, finishing close to her season best at 14.04a.
2014 Track Statistics
High School:
Matti is a 5''4" striker from Brighton High School in Sandy, Utah. She was the goal and assist leader for Brighton HS in both 2011 and 2012 scoring a combined 28 goals (17 in 2012) and adding 45 assists. Matti earned first team All-Region selection and a second team All-State selection in 2012 and earned All-State honors at Alta High School in 2009. Playing with Sparta United in 2010, she helped lead the team to the State Cup championship. Matti followed her sister Tashia to Pacific, who has since graduated. Along with her soccer success Matti earned honor roll honors in high school.
