Biography
2023 (Freshman)
In her first season, Rios competed in four events over the course of eight meets. Most notably, Rios competed in the hammer throw at the Johnny Mathis Track & Field Meet, setting a personal record of 39.93 m. Rios also competed at the Kim Duyst Invitational 2023 in the discus throw, reaching 31.02 m.
High School
A multi-sport athlete at Manteca High School, Rios specialized in the shot put on the track & field team while also competing on the cross country team. Starting throwing in her sophomore year and was a three-year varsity letter winner. Placed third in the Valley Oak League Championships in the shot put while also being a finalist and earning a fourth-place finish at the Sac-Joaquin Sectional Championships during her senior season.
