Career Stats

2017 (Junior):
Opened up at the Johnny Mathis Invitational (Feb. 25) with a 9.80m in shot put and a 30.13m in discus. She set a program record in shot put with a throw of 10.86m at the Aggie Open (Mar. 11) and followed up at the SFSU Distance Carnival (Apr. 1) with a mark of 10.68m. Tossed a personal-best 31.19m in discus at the Bulldog Open (Apr. 22)

2016 (Sophomore):
Jenkins posted a 29.63 in the 200m and ran the final leg of the 4x100m as her team logged a 52.64 at the season-opening Johnny Mathis Invite.  In Shot Put, Jenkins placed 13th with 9.34m. During the Kim Duyst Invitational, the San Ramon, Calif. native sped through the 100m with a time of 14.58 and placed fourth in Shot Put with a distance of 9.59m and placed fifth in discus with a mark of 21.84m. At the Bryan Clay invite, Jenkins logged an impressive 26.65m in the Discus Throw, which was the best in program history. She posted another program best in the Shot Put as she placed second with a throw of 10.30m. 

2015 (Freshman):
In her first season, Jenkins participated in the long jump as Pacific''s first-ever entrant in the event during the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, finishing in fifth place with 4.9 meters. At day two of the Distance Carnival, Jenkins ran the 100 Meter Dash in 13.84 and cut into that time at the following Beach Invitational with a mark of 13.56 which is the fifth-fastest time in program history.  

High School:
Jenkins joins the Track and Field program as a sophomore after a standout track career at Dougherty Valley HS in San Ramon, Calif. Jenkins was named Dougherty Valley''s 2012-13 Athlete of the Year after participating in the 4x100 relay, high jump and long jump for the Wildcats. In the 2011-12 season, Jenkins was named DFAL All-League 4x100 relay and participated in the championship meet in the 4x100 relay as well as the High Jump, picking up NCS Scholar Athlete designation as well as earning NCS Distinguished Scholastic Team honors. In her freshman season, Jenkins lettered for the varsity team and was named an NCS Scholar Athlete.

Personal:
Jasmine is the daughter of Robert and Pamela Jenkins. Robert played 12 years in the NFL as a tight end and offenisve tackle for the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders. He was also an assistant offensive line coach for the Raiders from 1997-2000. Jasmine was named Outstanding Female of the Year by the Rotary Club of Danville in 2013.
